my betta fish is hanging around the top of the tank not moving mutch is it the end of...

...his life? I have had Bubbles the betta for three years and he has bin swiming around the tank verry happily. Now he barily moves at all.But my other betta Mills is about the same age and is swiming around happily. ( Dont worry they are in different tanks.) Is he just getting old or is it somthing else.

Well i have had quite a lot of fish and all of mine died after they did that.... : ( But sometimes they live.

At moments in time my betta was active then for about 6 months then he started be lazy barely moving, then he was active agian. I really dont know what happened just continue to do reagular water changes and feed 1-2 times a day. Just keep an eye on him. If you have plants great but when i added some live plants he really seemed to be more hiding. If there are other fish in the tank and few plants then he feels threatned most likely and so he kind of plays dead. My betta fins lived for 7 years.
