My beta fish was sick a while ago and ever since he's been acting weirdly.?

I bought a healthy beta fish from the pet shop and I've had him for about two years. After I had him for one year, he became sick with an ear infection which afected his sense of direction. He healed well and there was no sign of the infection, but he seemed like he was scarred for life or something after the sickness. I'm worried about him.
 
Well he might be scared of something else happening to him. You should try adding some plants so he has room to hide. If he still is very scared then its just part of his new personality. But if he seems in pain I would bring him to your local pet shop for more details about him.
