Instead of swimming horizontally, my male beta fish floats vertically or at an angle and moves very little. His scales look normal, his eyes and fins appear normal. He has been eating less. He has been in the same water since he came from the pet store, but under suspicion that the rocks in his fish bowl were not cleaned enough and had chemicals on them still when he was in his bowl, the water was changed tonight. No change in the beta yet, but wondering if this could be swim bladder or something else?
