I think the ending was amazing! I loved George calling Jules...and when she figured out he was at the reception and started looking for him, that always makes my heart flutter. :blush:

This was one of the funniest scenes in the movie!!!!
 
I totally think of this ending, it's not they typical Romantic Comedy happy ending, but in a way, it's 2 different happy endings, which rocks!

Anyone going to see "The Wedding Date" Dermot Mulroney's new film - he likes doing wedding films doesnt he? :lol:

They have this movie as a double at Target with Wedding Planner. I have WP on dvd, but not this movie. I'm so tempted to buy it anyways. :)

This was the first movie that ever made me cry, lol. It's one of my All Time Favorites :D

..my Dad is a big fan of Julia..like for a couple of months he would just watch Notting hill, over and over again.. :rolleyes:

..but he didnt like this movie coz according to him, "the guy should've ended up with julia..".. :goof:
 
That scene has always made me think to....as if to is Kim insulting Jules or not. And, I think she's basicially just saying, I get how you will always be this important person in Michael's past, but that's it. I'm the one he's with now, kinda thing.
 
I adore this movie, i couldn't get out of my head that song ^^
I say a little pray for you.... i always thought Jules would end up with Michael :( but the end of the movie is great, George was the best, i loved when he pretended to be Jules' fiance :lol:
 
Yeah, they both called her Jules, I loved that.

Yeah, & loved how Rupert demanded to be in the end of the movie, lol.
 
I really liked this movie. Most of my friends didn't, mainly because they wanted the "happy ending". On the other hand, I think this movie worked because it wasn't the usual romantic comedy, and the main character wasn't such a good girl through most of the movie :) I found it clever and funny, and with one of the best soundtracks.

Omg, I loved the singing in the Lobster Shack, that was great! George was the best!
