When we let her outside, she stares into the forest beside our house, she doesnt do anything when she stares, its been 5 hours though, she has never done this before, she is 2 years old, female, and she is spayed/neutered(dont know which one) she wont listen to us, she wont eat, should i be concerned???

Has she had trouble going to the bathroom? I would gently lay her on her side and GENTLY check for any lumps or sore spots. Also, lock your doors-someone mentioned that she could sense danger. I agree. In the morning, if she isn't acting differently, take her to the vet asap. Or, if you don't feel comfortable waiting, take her now.

shes a.)in pain or b.) can sense some of danger that she doesn't want you or anyone else near. she probably smells like a bear in the forest. but for 5 hours....i suggest taking her to a vet.

A beagle that won't eat? Now that's an issue I've never heard of before. I can get my 2 year old female to do anything to get a piece of kibble.

Try taking her for a good walk. That usually helps my dog when she's acting strangely. Something about the steady exercise that resets them physically and emotionally.

Something in the forest definately has her attention and I'd be more worried about what that is than her! Beagles are very keen to sense danger and often whine when danger is near. Remember though, what is dangerous to her, may not be dangerous to you or vice versa.

Yes it is a cause for worry. However if you can't hear anything specifically... like someone screaming for help, then I don't think it is a cause for alarm.

My dog will whine a lot of times when she hears people in the vicinity... so if you've been hearing it for 5 hours I'd make sure I had that nice shotgun next to my bed just in case.

Dogs whine about a lot of things. Possibly there is campers in there with a fire. Maybe a dying animal. You never know until you go into the woods... which I wouldn't advise unless you have that shotgun I mentioned earlier.
