My bank let me go overdrawn by £8 even though i had no overdraft set up with them?

My bank let me go overdrawn by £8 even though i had no overdraft set up with them?

i paid the money back into my account about 4 days after.. i put £70 into the account and they took the £8 back. Now they are tryin to charge me over £200.?? help i dont know what to do i cannot afford this as i am out of work!
