my back pain

I have a question i have been having back pain for the last eleven years since i had my son. I had been stuck with the epideral needle 23 times and still it didnt work. i have had lots of lower back pain since then. I am wanting to fine a pain medicine that will work but i wont get hooked. Please help with any info u all know. Thank you very much frosqueen
 
Have you had any imaging done, x-rays,ct'c,mri's, etc. Do you know the root cause of your pain? Did it start after you delivered your son?
What does your GP think and have you seen a specialist.
I had been having back pain for over 15 years and i as well had many epi shots, altho 20+ seems excesive.
You need to find the cause of your pain and not a medicine to mask it..i did that for 10 years and i ended up with permanent nerve damage.

I agree with Killian. If you don't get the root of the problem, it will just continue. Plus extended use of any pain med will cause a dependancy by the very nature of the drugs

Using drugs is just covering up the problem, not solving it unless it has been diagnosed already. You need to see a good back doctor that will do a MRI and find out why you are having these issues. Then go form there. IT is obvious that the injections don't work so it's time for something else.
