my baby was born on 25th july small debate?

im having a bit of a debate with somebody her baby was born on the same day
she reckons her baby will be 6 months on 2nd january as he will be 23 weeks
i reckon my baby will be 6 months on 25th january
who is right

My daughter was born August 21, 2008 so on Jan 21 she will be 5 months

Technically, you are because a calendar month is not exactly 28 days (4 weeks). He will be 23 weeks, but not quite 6 months.
 
There are 52 weeks in a year, therefore your baby will be six months old 26 weeks after her birthday
