In my opinion:
There is 1 name I like with the Y trend: Emmersyn.
I like it because it's a girls name that was formally ment to be a boys name but with the y inserted it gives it that feminine touch!

I hate it. It looks like you don't know how to spell. I also hate it when the Y is supposed to be there and the parent changes it. For example, Bethanie instead of Bethany.

I don't like it and I personally don't feel like adding a y to a name makes it any more feminine. If I'm going to use a unisex name on a girl I'll just spell it the right way because I think it looks nicer on paper that way and both names will sound identical when you say them.

Some names look really stupid like that like Jayson and names like that, in my oppinion anyways. There is one name though that I like with the Y and that is Addyson, I personally just think it looks better that way, nothing about the sex of the baby, just all together.
