my apple laptop keeps freezing?

i scanned my disk when itwas still able to function correctly and it said that the volume file count is corrupt it should be 526860 instead of 526861 and the volume directory count should be 156586 instead of 156585 lastly in red it states The volume macintosh HD was found corrupt. it freezes and I'm unable to perform anything without it freezing. my warranty expired what can i do or how can i fix it
