I too noticed that I was much, much worse when it rained and I now know through allergy testing that the culprit is the rain molRAB, leptosphaeria and phaeosphaeria, My reactions where the worst of any molRAB I tested for so far and produced the most debilitating symptoms for me. I am so allergic to them, the reactions are so severe for me, they recommended that I no longer live in the East where rain is common. And going to tropical places is completely out of the question.
If you have a lot of symptoms when it rains, I'd suspect mold above anything else.
