I am a long time sufferer of acid reflux, sometimes pretty bad, especially after i gained a lot of weight..(approx 30 years ago).. now about 240lbs..
I suffer a lot in bed lying prone..especially after a meal with fried meats and oily fooRAB.. used Losec, quick-eze and the like as from years ago...try to eat
a lot of salaRAB..but cant get off the salt...
I've been taking the last week or so, this hydrogenating water stick that
alkalizes and negative ionizes as well as hydrogenates water, and I've been
drinking about 1~1.5liters per day, and I feel pretty good, but what I've discovered is that even though I havent changed my diet, my stomach actually feels good..dont know how to explain, but yes, feels good. And what I also found is that for a very long time, the last week I havent had any acid
reflux, and having great uninterrupted sleep! I checked the ingredients on this product and it says water soluble calcium carbonate 97.5%..i wonder if
anyone can tell me whether it is this calcium carbonate that is suppressing my stomach acid and eliminating my acid reflux? i read in an european site that calcium carbonate can regualte the hydrochloric acid of the stomach, but not sure..I'm not complaing, far from it, but want to know if that is it, and if so, will drink that water from now, as I feel great...appreciate any
feedback...

I've had good luck using calcium supplements to prevent/stop acid reflux. As I understand it, calcium is an alkalizing mineral which basically neutralizes the acid in your stomach. A doctor I know says he takes 5000 mg (5x the U.S. Recommended Daily Allowance) each night before bed.

You can also get alkalizing minerals by eating so called 'alkaline' fooRAB. See this post for a list. The 'acid' fooRAB are fooRAB that cause acid reflux:

wow, 5grms of calcium supplements? that sure is a lot...in the water that I
drink, the soluble calcium is only 16.5mg per liter..and seems to be doing the trick for me, as well as it raises the pH to 8.4 and the ORP is around the negative -220mv..so guess it might be all corabined..but 5grms a night is huge..wow.. thank you for the imput..

I am soooo curious about this and I'll tell you why. For the past 3-1/2 months I've been off Aciphex trying to do it alone. I've been taking calcium (citrate with Vit D) the whole time UNTIL 11/8 when I stopped because I was thinking it was constipating me. I was really good with my reflux only using DGL a few times and no acid reducers of any kind (since August). About 1-1/2 weeks after I stopped the calcium I started having reflux again and it hasn't let up. This past week has been terrible and I thought that MAYBE the calcium was helping me before. As of today, I started taking the calcium again and I'm praying it helps.

Hi
Google "apple cider vinegar angina" & it will show an old remedy to cure angina. I tried it & it worked.
Before as soon as I laid down for sleep the angina started..now, no problems.
