transmission.? my 99 toyota camry, automatic transmission (V6) is having some problem with its transmission. i took it for an oil change when i noticed some funny movement and the mechanic said the fibber was burnt cuz the oil had lots of metalic particles in it. after the change, it worked for a day and parked up. it drives when the oil is cold but stops as soon as it warms up. all gears would look like they are put on neutral and just revs...what is the problem? can it be fixed or am i faced with the harsh reality of getting a new transmission?
 
that sounds bad, ive had a few tranny problems, including the one your describing. ford trannys dont seem to last long, how many miles you got on it?
