My jeep starts and runs in park and reverse all day long, but as soon as I shift into drive it dies!!! I have replaced about half of the sensors on this engine with no luck. I have also replaced my fuel pump, and filter, my distributor, plugs and wires, and the partridge in the pear tree (which was the trickiest one)... I see that some people have said they have similar problems and it tends to be the IAC. But, nobody seems to have the exact same problem. I did have a very similar problem on my '86 Cherokee, but it was my MAP sensor. So I ran out and replaced the MAP on here and it didn't do a thing for me. It has been almost a year since I have been able to drive my jeep!!! PLEASE HELP!!!! THANK YOU in advance!!!!
