showin bad read. Help? My mechanic wants to no if this is a common problem with this model. He doesn't want to put a new internal computer in and find out it's something else that is common with this vehicle.
Check the coil! I had a f150 this same year and stated having coil issues at about 60k miles. The computer should be the last thing you worry about. A bad computers would most likely cause other issues too and not just the cyl 6. The injector could also be the issue.
