When you say hubs I'm guessing you are referring to wheel bearings, it could possibly be the ball joints or another mechanical part of the front end , if you can feel it mostly in the steering wheel, that usually is the problem when you mention it goes away when you turn, but if you feel it mostly in the car itself it could be bad drive line U joints or transmission mounting bracket,
