Alright im having a problem with my 97' Jeep Grand Cherokee starting. Few days ago i ran out of gas. I put gas back in and tried to start it. It doesnt want to start now. I checked if it was fuel. But it seems to be a spark issue. Any ideas on what it could be?

When you turn the key to the "on" position, do you hear a hum for a second coming from the back? That hum is the fuel pump. If you don't hear that, then your fuel pump burned out.
If you do hear that, then I'd replace the fuel filter.

Some times there is gunk in the bottom of a fuel tank. When there is plenty of gas in the tank then the gunk floats and doesn't get sucked in to the fuel line. However, since you ran out of gas, you may have sucked in some gunk.

So if the fuel pump still pumps, then change out the fuel filter. If the fuel pump doesn't make a sound when turning the key to the on position, then change the pump and the filter.
