My 97 Ford Expedition driver side power lock wont unlock the doors?

When I want to unlock the doors to my expedition I have to continually press the unlock button in order for the rest of the doors to open. Even sometimes I have to reach across to the passenger door to unlock them. The button works fine when I want to lock the doors though.

Its been getting a lot worse lately, what could this be?
By the way Im talking about the Inside door control.
 
the switch might need a fix.hae you by chance let the windows down?the rain getting to it?how long has this happened?check for a switch problem.
