My 91 Toyota Corolla makes a weird GRRRRRR noise.... Why is this?

At first it only did this when it rained out or the road was wet (when I hit a puddle), but now it makes this noise when I decelerate from about 55 mph or more. I'm not sure if it is relevant, but when it makes the GRRRRRRR noise I can feel it in the pedals. It has been doing this for a for at least four years and it doesn't seem to affect the vehicle.

Seriously it could be in the brakes, your rotors might be warped or shot, your brake pads might be worn down. it also could be your wheel bearings in your front wheels needing replaced. Although the fact that you said its been doing this for 4 years kind of rules out the brakes, you would have found out the hard way if the brakes were at fault. Still i wouldnt rule that out.
