I just bought an 88 Toyota Corolla with 177,000 miles on the car. Everything works fine, and when the car drives it drives well with no engine problems. However getting it to start is the tricky part. Usually it starts right up!, but sometimes when i turn the ignition it takes a while or needs a little gas to get going?
I am low on cash, and I am too scared to take it too a mechanic who just wants to rip me off and tell me all the things i need to fix that don't really effect the issue at hand. I've already replaced the battery with a new one, but if someone can help me narrow down the problem so i know exactly what to get fixed. Thank You
