My 7 daughter just turned 7 months and still sleeps all night in her swing. She wakes up after 45 minutes if we lay her down in her crib. It isnt even the movement of the swing that she likes (we dont even turn it on). I think she just likes the position of it. How do I get her to sleep in her crib? She is going to be too big for her swing pretty soon...and I just feel like a bad mom letting her be in the swing all night, every night. She sleeps like atleast 7 hours straight in it! Is it bad for her back? Any ideas on how to transition her to her crib?

poor girly! Here's what I would do... deep breath. Just cut her off cold turkey. Put her in her bed and let her adapt. Babies adapt amazingly well to new situations and while it may take a night or two for her to get used to it, and a night or two of hell for you, it will be so worth it. You'll have much better peace of mind with her in a crib, i'm sure. I would let her cry it out a time or two, and comfort her a time or two, but she will get used to it soon. You'll also notice that after she starts sleeping in her crib that she'll grow quite a bit. a friend of mine had her baby sleep in a car seat for that long and after doing this she grew like 3 inches right away! Good luck!
