My 65 Father is running sporadic fevers 2-4 times a week?
Here is his symptoms: he runs a 101-102 temperature 3 times a week. The temperatures are not a long duration. He says he will test his temperature at 101.9 and an hour later it will be normal.
He went and got checked for prostate cancer yesterday and the doc said that he does not appear to have cancer but they have to wait for the test results.
He works in agriculture in the San Joaquin Valley and has been tested for valley fever but that came back negative.
Could this be allergies??? The doctor he's been seeing says possibly. But would allergies really cause this?
He has been given several drugs. The one i remember is Levoquin.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
