sometimes babies have a hard time pooping at first. its very common and normal to be constipated. several things you can do to help it is rubbing its bellly lightly in a clockwise direction. a very warm bath. a vibrating bouncer chair for infants. breastmilk. as far as urine, that is a major sign of dehydration. i would make sure that your baby is taking at least an ounce at each feeding 3 hours apart. my baby was jaundus to the point that we had to stay in the hospital for a week. hydration is key, and natural sunlight is the only effective cure. the billi light only aids in the production of proper blood cells. sun light produces them. i would only be concerned if the baby has gone more than 8 hours without urinating. otherwise just wait til you see the doc.
