My 360 connects to Media Center, but not to Media Player. Any suggestions?

This used to work, but I disconnected my ISP and reset my router.

When I select "Music" on the 360, then attempt to select my computer as the source, the 360 doesn't recognize it.

I've looked at all the Media Sharing settings, again and again, and everything is in order.

I want to have access to music and pictures, but I don't want to use Media Center to do it because I can't run that and play a game at the same time.

Any ideas/suggestions?
