...well. regularly during the day,? my 3 year old maltease bishion, is nomaly a
calm dog. she eats, play and is well. regularly
during the day, regardless of the weather she
begins to shake for about 5 minutes. then it
stops. she sometimes brings it to our attention
by coming and sitting on our laps. whats the
problem with her shaking? could it be seisures?

maltese are good with all weather, maybe it's something else.
maltese do have some dental problems, like tooth decay, so u should check with ur vet.

Anything that could possibly be seizure related (and this is) requires a vet visit pronto. Most seizure problems can be controlled by meds, but you're playing with fire, because if they're not treated, some seizures can suddenly erupt out of control and this is not something you want to witness.

And it could be unrelated, but you need to get her to the vet.

a BISON is a buffalo isn't it??

could very well be seizures,, you have a byb/puppymill dog,,, a dog bred with absolutely no concern for genetic health and no concern for temperament...... risky to say the least

oh,, it is BICHON FRISE

It could be, dogs of any breed can have seisures or it might be that she/he might have a disease. It might also be anxious about something. When did the shaking start? Did any thing happen before the shaking started? In any case try taking it to a local vet to see whats going on.

Shaking can be a number of things...but it doesn't sound good in a normally healthy dogs...Take her to the vet to be checked out.

Your Maltese is just fine! All of the smaller dogs shake a little bit. It is because they are so small, and get a little chilly, no matter the weather. No need to worry, my sister's (now ex) boyfriend had a small jack Russel and he shook every time he went outside. Sometimes even indoors.
