my 2007 ford fusion oil cap blew off and leaked all oil and now makes click sound?

We replaced all the oil but now its still making a clicking noise the engine block is not cracked and its acclerating fine but when i accelerate the noise gets louder...i was told it might be air because of lacking oil and will go away it has gotten quieter but not gone away and im broke as a joke so cant afford mech
