...What could it be? The creaking noise comes from the rear of the car. In particular the trunk area. I will ride over a speed bump going under 5mph or so and as the car rides over the bump the noise occurs. The noise sound likes an old door opening (hence, the creaking sound). Could it be the rear axel?
