my 2004 Pontiac gran-am wont start?

l have a half tank of gas l went to start it and it wont crank over.
it seems its got spark coming from the spark plug but how do you ck if its getting any fuel on a fuel injector
oops am sorry about the starting (it wont crank over) the car cranks over and it seems am getting spark on my distributor spark cable
l was flooded with ideas about checking for fuel
know l have to find it with you guys help and ideas
 
Look for what is called a shrader valve in the fuel line. It will be up on or near the motor where the fuel line goes into the fuel rail with the injectors on it. It will have a screw on cap and have like a valve stem inside it. Take off the cap and depress the valve, ( make sure it is not pointed near your face). You should get a strong spray of gas when depressed. You can also have someone listen under the car to see if the fuel pump is cycling when you turn on the key, it will be a whirring sound.
