My 2003 Dodge Neon is posessed!?

Friday my husbands neon just got out of the shop from having the transmission worked on. The next day he was driving it and the break peddle wouldn't go down and then the engine started reving. Well now when he turns it on the engine keeps reving over and over again and when you put it in drive it wants to take off by itself. Is this an O2 sensor or throttle body or what???
