HELLO HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN HELP, WELL ONE DAY AFTER WORK I STARTED MY CAR AND THE INSIDE LIGHTS TURNED ON... OF COURSE WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOOR THIS HAPPENS, WELL ONCE I SHUT MY DOOR AND STARTED THE CAR THE LIGHTS WERE STILL ON =( I CHECKED ALL DOORS TO SEE IF THEY WERE CLOSED AND EVERYTHING, I PLAYED WITH THE SWITCHES NOTHING. SO I DROVE HOME WITH MY LIGHTS ON, MY FRIEND HAD TO TAKE OUT THE FUSE TO TURN THEM OFF AND THE FUSE WAS STILL GOOD. WE REPLACED IT ANYWAYS AND IT WAS FINE UNTIL A COUPLE DAYS LATER THE SAME THING KEEPS HAPPENING???
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I had the same issue on my 93 explorer. it seems that it could be three things: a dented place where the switch pops in (i cant explain it unless I show u and thats not possible lol) faulty wiring and or switches, could be a bad door light shut off switch. take it to a chrysler dealer to diagnose it better. for me it was a dent and I taped a piece of thick cardboard to it and it worked for a bit and eventually wore down again so i put more on lol. dont do this unless u know what ur doin
