Hey guys thanks again for all your answers. After replacing my Head gaskets on 2001 Honda Civic 1.7L SOHC Automatic, the car will not start. Now I lined up the tick marks on the crankshaft pulley to the marker on the plastic pulley cover, and the cam shaft pulley spoke marked " up " is perpendicular to the the Head cylinder and the marks on the cam shaft pulley's wheel, 90 degrees apart from the " UP " spoke, are horizontal with the head cylinder.
I did all this with the gear in neutral. and with all spark plugs connected in the engine. and fuel system still connected as well. Now when i turn the ignition the car try's to turn over I can hear the crankshaft , and i know the crankshaft turned cause when i stop and get out the car i can see that the up spoke has rotated from its original position(TDC),then for another second it changes over and it sounds like the car is trying to start with no gas. Just errrrr...errrrrr...errrrrrr.errrrrr ????? I CAN"T START IT!!!!!
