My 2001 Chevy cavalier wont start and I need some advice.?

Just happened one day, all electronics worked fine, turn the key and the starter would run like a champ but the engine just wouldnt fire. Then, after the battery wouldnt turn the starter anymore, jumped it and it fired to life and worked for about 5 more days. But since yesterday, its been doing the same thing. I try it and sometimes it will fire but only for a half second. Im hoping the battery has not enough juice to fire the thing, but im worried because all the electronics work fine. Fuel pump is good, no clog in the line. Maybe theft system or just new battery? plz help
If it's some kind of module, wat kind?
Passlock, after further research, is most likley the cause. anyone know how 2 disable it?

It is possible that the fuel pump is getting ready to quit on you. The Cavalier is know to go through fuel pumps. If you have a mechanic, have him check your fuel pressure and see what it is. If you replace the pump, have the filter replaced as well. I just replaced one for a customer yesterday on a'03, ran about $900.00
If it is not the fuel pump, you may have a bad ignition coil. have him check for spark as well.

may need new plugs and wires. might want to check that. If thats not it, could be a module needs replaced.
