I have a 2000 honda civic ex and the car seems to over heat when in it is really hot. I live in california so most of the time it gets really hot. It doesnt over heat when im driving on the free way since air does hit the motor when i am driving but does over heat in the city speeds. I checked my fan and the fan does turn on. Somebody told me that I needed to change my thermastat. I changed it but it continues to over heat. Another person told me that there is a specific way that a thermestat should be put in inorder for it to work. Does any body know what I should do.
