even the key lock is operated electrically.
you have an electrical problem
maybe just a blown fuse. Check your manual to find if there is fuse for this. It is the same on my blazer. The key lock is elec controlled. I found out when i had the batt disconnected and could not use the key to open the window gate or tail gate. That is why i say it is elec prob. hopefully just a fuse.

My trunk is locked shut and when I try the handle nothing happens. I'll hit 'unlock' from the inside several times, and even tried the key in the back with no luck. The window gate won't open either. The handle doesn't feel loose, but no matter what I do I can't get it open. The rest of the locks seem off as well; when I hit 'unlock' only the front driver's side door unlocks. Help!
