There's a lot of advice for fussy eaters, but what about those that don't eat! It would be fine if there were even 2 things that she'd eat on a regular basis, but there is nothing. I've had to resort to force feeding (which I always said I'd never do, as I was force fed as a child). I hate doing this, but I worry so much. She won't eat any vegs, meat, dairy (including milk) no rice, pasta, bread. On the odd occasion she'll have 1/3 of a banana or some egg white but that's it. Today I tried a choc and banana muffin, but even that was spat out. I don't know how she has energy to survive. Drs tell me that they won't starve themselves to death, but I find this hard to believe.

don't worry which i know is easy to say but i am currently in the same situation - slowly getting better. my son is just over 2 1/2 yrs and is slowly starting to eat variety of foods. he' s eating patterns are identical to you daughter. i sometimes take my boys out for a coffee and buy them eg freshly baked croissant, eggs breakfast eg - which i know people will tell u not to do but i think that if my son is happy and eating something i will do whatever it takes. i found taking them out of the home situation into public they found it interesting to watch people eating different foods therefore wanting to try food as well.
now he is starting to eat spaghetti - and he only did as we made it a game around the table saying who can eat more mum or dad.

they slowly do come around, the best piece of advice my father gave me is that kids know when you are trying to push them into doing something they dont want to so dont, eventually they learn what right and wrong, this goes hand in hand with eating also.

good luck

first off--don't panic..this IS just a stage...ALL children go thru it.....believe it or not...any little snacking that she is doing thru out the day ADDS up...:)
i actually had to write down everything my little one ate in a day...i did this for a couple of weeks....thought she wasn't eating.....haha....

cheerios (without milk make a GREAT snack all day long)
eggos/waffles (with or without syrup--depends on the mess you wanna clean)
scrambled eggs with toast
toast with cheez whiz
hot dogs(without bun--don't forget ketchup for dipping tho)
chicken nuggets(ranch salad dressing makes a great dip)
french fries
kraft dinner
soup
grilled cheese
applesauce (motts makes oodles of kinds--most sugar free)
yogurt/minigo
pudding
how bout FREEZIES or popsicles
watermelon
apple (peeled, but whole--my little one likes getting them whole as opposed to sliced up)
