My 2 month old chicken has been acting weird lately... She's been inactive, she's not speaking, she's eating and drinking a little less, her wings have been hanging to the side, she doesn't scream when I pick her up or separate her from my other chicken, she's been cutting herself off from me and my other chicken and the weird thing about this she always does the opposite. She's really active she's always loud whenever I separate her from the other chicken she goes spaz and runs to her and I don't know what to do about it... My mum won't let me take her to a vet, she won't let me see the guys that I bought her from until tomorrow. So what else am I supposed to do? It's really scaring me. she hardly poos anymore and yesterday when I let her and the other chicken out for a while, I could've sworn I saw her poo was white but when I went over to look I couldn't find it. There's also a big chick in with them as well... we've had her for a few years. They don't get along and nothing serious has come along until now. I want to separate them for a while but my mum won't let me do that either. I reasently read something close to this from a another person, and I found out that her chicken died but it was a hen so I'm afraid my 2 month old won't have a chance either... Also another thing, her legs and wings seem very week. Usually when I touch her legs she's scream and when I'd check her wings she would become a bit distressed. Now when I do it she just stays there, she seems to like to lay down a lot lately or just crouch. I tried to get her to straighten her legs but she wouldn't. I put her on the top of something that she would usually fly off but just a moment ago when I put her on there, she actually kinda fell off and didn't try to fly whatsoever. This all started to happen yesterday so PLEASE HELP ME! I really don't want her to die... I kiss her whenever I put her back, she used to struggle a bit but now she's fine with it. Please please please help! :(
Well I give her some of those small gray chicken pellets about every second day, I put out fresh water and change it every week. I check up on her everyday and let her out of her chicken pen to walk around and eat some grass (just grass on the ground). Also another thing that I forgot to mention is that her bottom (and I don't mean her bum but I actually mean the bottom of her is kinda dirty. I tried to clean it off yesterday but it didn't really work... It's like dried up mud but only at the tips of her feathers. When she was little she had a clogged up bum (clogged up of poo) and I cleaned it off but I don't think that has anything to do with this. Do you need more information?
