My 1999 cougar stereo wont turn on at all ?

My 1999 cougar stereo wont turn on at all. Its been sitting down for about a year and i went to turn it on today to get it fixed, whats wrong is it broken or a blown fuse???

The panel with the preset radio buttons could be loose. Try pushing on it, not the buttons, the panel itself. If it's loose the circuit isn't complete and the radio won't work.

If that's not it it's gotta be the fuse.
