Okay heres my situation. About 4 months ago i got an H22 Motorswap from my local wetworks motorsports in Edison NJ. ( raceway park). I was happy, the car runs low 12's on the quarter mile and does 0-60 in 4.9 seconds. Now the problem here is recently i noticed that my clutch makes a noise every time i let it go . When i rev and start to release the clutch i get this annoying sound like someones testicles popped in the transmission . Kinda like a grinding / screeching sound, I dont know what it is. My friend does car repairs at walmart and said its the throw out bearing, which i doubt because i got that replaced with the clutch. The clutch shows no sign of wear what so ever. I can be in 2nd, put it in 4th and still get from 20-70 mph in about 8 seconds with no slip. Trust me i know a slipping clutch when i see one but this is odd. Please someone help my baby is dying.

Pull off the trans and find out. It takes about 4 hours the first time you do it and abouot an hour after you learn.

Remove wheels, pop axles out, undo one mount, unhook the shifter linkage, remove the 8 bolts that hold the trans to the engine, and pull it off.

There is nothing you can fix from the outside anyway.

It is either the throw out, the input shaft, broken disk, or broken pressure plate.
