My 1997 Honda Civic has a starting problem I think?

My car is stick shift and after sitting parked for a over a period of time like a couple hours and I depress the clutch and turn the key. The Car ignites but then the car seems like it wants to turn off. The RPMs move up and down btwn 1.5 and drops below the 1 line and thats when it seems like it is going to turn off and just keeps jumping up and down for like 5 seconds and then goes to 1-1.5 and stays there, thats when it is back to normal. But I dont like that jumping sound. It sounds like my car has cams or something =P. Hopefully someone knows what I mean about the sound. Sounds like the engine is normal leans torwards a quite sound like it is going to turn off back to normal and so on. Does someone know why my car does that?
 
I think you have a IACV problem, Idle air control valve. They are common on those to go bad and will effect the idle and make it lower than normal when you start it.
