my 1997 ford f-150 need some help/advice?

The trim on driver side door is starting to come off what is best product to use to reapply it before it continues to get worse?
 
There is a spray on adhesive that you can find in AutoZone or advance auto that should do the job. I had a 1999 Expedition and I had the same problem but I did not reattach the trim I purchase a paint safe adhesive remover and took off the trim and buffed the residue off the truck.
