My 1997 Dodge Intrepid will not start?

My dodge was working great until the two belts were changed. Right after the car had to jump started and it started for two days. After that it would not jump start. I finally took it to a mechanic who informed me it was the security system and maybe a short. He fixed it and two days later out of nowhere while idling it just turned off and wouldnt crank. I dont know what to do. Also for some reason everything that runs of the fuse associated with my rear tail lights does not work but did prior to being taken to the mechanic. Help please

you need to take it back to the original mechanic and have him go back over what he done to it,sounds like something went wrong with his repair to it,your never supposed to have more problems after having one repaired,he needs to do an electrical check on it to find out what happened to it,its not normal for those to blow fuses all the time like that ,not on any circuit, good luck.

take it back to your mechanicand tell him that something happened after he fixed it. the starter might be gone and same with the fuse box
