It did seem to crank a little long before turning over when it was cold. Once it was warm, it seemed to start fine. This morning was very cold and it cranked but would not catch. I ended up running the battery down trying to get it started. It didn't take long so I think the battery may be weak. I can hear the fuel pump when I turn on the ignition for the first few seconds. Could a week battery possibly be my problem or is it fuel related. someone please advise. I've heard chevys have fuel pump issues.

The pumps do go bad in those often, but if you hear it, then it probably is another issue. Start by getting a fresh battery.
