My 1994 mazda protege' died while driving....whats wrong?

driving to work one day, after driving for bout 35 min while exiting the highway the car dies.....takes bout 5 min then restarts. i leave work drive to store and home with no issues. next day driving to work car dies 5 min after driving, restarts but dies after bout 10 min, restarts and drives bout 20 min no issues. i leave work drive bout 25 min exiting highway again car dies, but this time while still rolling it revs back up, then dies, revs back up, and finally dies and will not restart for 3 days
