My 1994 ford explorer sport shut off driving down the road and now wont start.?

It started fine i got about a half mile down the road and it sputtered then shut off. When i tried to start it again it cranked fine but wouldn't fire and i could hear the fuel pump. After letting it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes it started up fine but died and wouldn't start again. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
