For the past 10 years, my 1993 Ford sputters, coughs, and dies coming down a mountain road after driving up a long grade during the summer heat. It will not run smoothly for at least one hour. It runs a little better if I can keep the engine reved up but dies as the engine slows. After sitting for an hour, it runs fine.
