my 1992 honda accord lx has 2nd & 3rd gear but 1st and 4th act like they

try getting a tranny flush at a transmission shop or a honda dealership and if it persists take it back to the dealer or tranny shop to have them tear it down and figure out whats going on.
 
aren't there...HELP!!? ok i have a 1992 honda accord lx and it seems to be running fine...except the D4 light is permanently on no matter what gear your in but the gear your in also lights up. i used to have to hold the brake to shift out of park and i don't have to anymore. if i put it in 1st its in 2nd if i put it in 2nd its in 2nd if i put it in D3 its in 3rd if i put it in D4 its in 3rd and generally you would think i could put it in D3 and it would go from 2nd to 3rd but it doesn't i am having to shift manually from 2nd to 3rd. i need help from the masses please please does anyone know what this could be?? any help would be appreciated. thanx!
