P pedro7of9 Guest Mar 12, 2009 #3 1 bad battery or battery connections...starter requires 12.6 volts lites/radio about 10...test it/voltmeter battery cables have 2 ends. 2 starter...when running go to any autoparts store for free test of battery/starter/alternator.

S Stuart H Guest Mar 12, 2009 #4 as you say you have had a new battery and starter motor you can rule them out Most likley cause is bad earth connection somewhere. Current to starter is running to ground somewhere
