My 1990 Camaro RS stereo wont work.?

I tried installing an aftermarket radio into my 1990 camaro rs and the radio turns on but when it plays music no sound comes from the speakers.I checked all my connections and i wired everything correctly. The radio says it's playing but nothing comes from the speakers. The car has a Delco Bose Sound sytem that came stock with the car
