MY 19 YR OLD SON IS TAKING THE DRIVERS TEST DO I HAVE TO GO WITH HIM?

DO I HAVE TO BE THERE WITH HIM SINCE I'M THE REGISTERED DRIVER TO THE VEHICLE WITH INSURANCE? I'D LIKE TO SEND MY BOYFRIEND WITH MY SON SINCE HE HAS A LICENSE AND CAN DRIVE MY SON TO THE DMV. I'M TRYING TO AVOID LOOSING HOURS AT WORK. IF I HAVE TO GO I WILL.
 
He is over 18, so it should be fine for your boyfriend to take your son to the DMV. My boyfriend took me to get my license. My name wasn't on his insurance or anything and they didn't ask him to sign or verify anything. They just needed to see that I didn't drive to the office alone.

You might call and double check just in case though. I think they have some freedom to change little regulations like that by city.

i believe ur son is old enough to make decision for himself, i wouldn't really would like my mom to come with me in almost every little thing i do. you need to start letting ur some be more independent with his decision to practice smart choice making
