He is around 12 weeks. We got him at 8 weeks . At first we were feeding him Purina Kitten chow (Chicken & liver). He would only eat 1 cup a day... while he is supposed to eat 3-4 cups a day. He had trouble eating it because it was too hard for him.
So we tried mixing it with water. I tried to mash it up as much as i could. But it didn't work.
So we bought him fancy feast... (pieces of chicken heart and chicken liver) They were quite soft pieces... He ate only the gravy but left the pieces. I cut the pieces in even smaller pieces... Did not work he just walked off...
What do i do??? I know he should be eating 3-4 meals a day but when i fill his bowl that lasts him for 2 days sometimes 3.
What can i feed him??? he is a happy kitten. he does everything that a kitten should do. apart from eating properly
His teeth are ok for his age. He just doesnt want to eat anything. However he loves to eat the treats which we give him ( a party mix - chicken, liver and turkey)
any suggestions?
